Student Council

If you are an enthusiastic and hard-working student who wants to become more involved in your school, Student Council may be a great choice. The Student Council works hard to serve the students and community. They rake leaves for the elderly, help with the Miracle Tree project, earn money for charities, provide appreciation gifts for the staff and faculty, organize the Academic Awards Banquet and sponsor an entertainment event called Coffee House featuring student talent.

They meet once a month during the school day. Members are expected to attend the meetings, vote on issues affecting the student body, and organize and help with various events. Some events take place after school or in the evenings, but often much of the work is done during the school day. A Student Council member needs to be dependable and willing to follow through on commitments. Elections are held in the spring for the upcoming school year.
