The boys’ soccer program supports three teams at WHS: varsity, junior varsity and JV2 squads. The program became a varsity sport in 1996. The varsity squad earned the Mid-State Conference Championship in 1998, 1999 and 2000, 2001, 2002 and a Northeastern Conference championship in 2016. The varsity team coach is Mr. Nagel (assistant coach Mr. DeYoung), the junior varsity coach is Mr. Rusch, and the JV2 is Mr. Clark. Practice begins early August and ends in late October. Practice is every day after school with tournament games on weekends. Approximately 18-24 games are played each year.

The girls’ soccer program supports two teams at WHS: varsity and junior varsity. The varsity program began in 1997. Practice begins in mid-March and ends in late May or early June. Practice is every day after school with tournament games on the weekends, with approximately 24 games played each year.
